Gotham ne'er-do-wells beware, it's the new Batmobile!
Not really. Although the forces of evil should still fear the Spadaconcept Codatronca.
Odd name for an odd-looking car, but that rear fin looks so good we can forgive it.
The Codatronca is the work of Spadaconcept, an Italian father-and-son design team with a huge list of design credits to its name, including work for Aston, Alfa and Lancia.
The Codatronca is intended for production and the current working prototype uses a Corvette 7.0-litre V8 engine tweaked to realise 700bhp, which is enough to propel the car from 0-60mph in three seconds and on to 208mph.
There will be three versions of the Codatronca with varying power outputs.
The 'basic' Sport Tourism model will use the standard 512bhp Corvette V8, while the Fast Sport Tourism model gets an extra 1bhp to boost power to 513bhp. The full-on 700bhp mutha is called the Super Sport Tourism.
It'll be a while before the Codatronca goes into production, but we're looking forward to it.
Just be careful that the police don't clock your speed on the digital display tucked into the back of that rear fin.
