2007 SEAT Altea XL
One of the latest additions to the SEAT range, the 2007 Altea XL, has won its first award in Poland, where panel members of “Poland’s Car No. 1” agreed to give it the special prize in the design category.
This most recent award for the 2007 SEAT Altea XL adds to the long list given to SEAT’s new generation of models headed by the Altea, which in 2004 was already recognised as “The most beautiful car in the world”.
The 2007 SEAT Altea XL was created in response to those who admire the Altea’s sporty, dynamic silhouette, but need more loading space for the whole family. With 18.7 centimetres more than the Altea, the XL features a boot with 532 litres of capacity and numerous possibilities of rearranging the interior, all the while maintaining the new generation of SEAT models’ sporty looks and strengthening its family approach with elements such as the luggage racks.
The “Poland’s Car No. 1” is part of the “Auto 1 of Europe” competition, which is organised in 25 countries. The competing vehicles from each country are evaluated on a track by the chief editors of the award’s participating media. As customary, the award ceremony will take place at the Geneva International Motor Show next March.
