Pininfarina Issues Two More Pictures of its Cambiano Concept


The tedious teasing of Pininfarina's brand new Cambiano concept car continues with two more closely cropped teaser photos of the vehicle's front fender and the roof.

Even though the Italian design house describes the car as a "sports sedan" on its official website, the images suggest that it's either a coupe or a two-door fastback model.

Pininfarina Readies Cambiano Concept for the Geneva Motor Show


Thirty years ago, in 1982, the Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche (Pininfarina Study and Research) center was established by the famous automotive designer in the city of Cambiano in the region of Piemonte in Italy.

Coincidentally, 20 years later, Pininfarina inaugurated its new Engineering Center, which would increase the carrozzeria’s styling and production abilities, in the same city.

Michael Stoschek Officially Pronounces the New Stratos Project Dead


The automotive history is full of people who tried to make their dreams come true but failed, some due to their limited ability or resources, some because of bad timing and others because the big fish swimming in their pond were, well, too big to handle.

Automotive industry entrepreneur, collector and historic car driver Michael Stoschek has just joined their ranks after attempting to build a 21st century version of one of rallying’s iconic cars: the Lancia Stratos.

IAA 2011: New Stratos Makes its Motorshow Debut in Frankfurt


While the Fiat Group has more or less cut ("neutered" would probably be a more appropriate word…) Lancia from its past, a dedicated fan of the Italian brand with a lot of money to spend, decided to resurrect one the most famous sports cars of all time.

We are talking of course about German businessman Michael Stoschek and his one-off New Stratos that made its first public appearance at a major automotive event in Frankfurt.

VIDEO: Michael Stoschek Takes his New Lancia Stratos out for Racing


Unlike many other exotic supercar owners, Michael Stroshek isn’t keen on letting his pride and joy pass its time as a fancy museum piece in a parking lot. The German owner of the much talked about one-off Lancia Stratos wants to enjoy his latest toy where it counts the most: on the race track.

In these latest videos, we see Stroshek taking the Pininfarina-built and Ferrari 430 Scuderia-based Stratos out for racing at the Circuit Spa Francorchamps in Belgium and at the Sachsen Rallyce 2011 in Germany. Hop the jump to see the 540-horsepower Stratos in action for yourself.
