Ford planning to change global design theme

Ford planning to change global design theme

New CEO Alan Mulally has a “one Ford” vision that is starting to take shape. As Europeans shift to bigger cars, Ford is developing a global design theme for its next-generation cars. North American design chief Peter Horbury and European executive director of design Martin Smith are working on one common design theme for Ford-brand cars.

This could only mean two things. Either the Europeans will be getting the same big and boring cars we have here or we will be getting a European touch to the dead Ford design we have here.
