Ferrari Dino design study

Ferrari is yet to reveal whether or not the entry-level Dino has even been confirmed for production but that hasn’t stopped one enthusiast from creating his own design for the car. The Ferrari Dino Concept design was penned by Ugur Sahin, whose goal was to create a car that feels stylish, modern, dynamic and organic while staying true to the original design language of the Ferrari Dino and Ferrari brand in general.

Early reports suggest that we may see a production Dino by 2010, and Germany’s AutoZeitung has speculated that some form of the car will be displayed at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Previously, Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo revealed that a new car based on the F430 will be in Frankfurt, however, this could simply be the F430 Challenge Stradale.

If built, the Dino would likely feature a mid-mounted V8 engine displacing in the vicinity of 4.0L and an aluminum chassis. Power levels should be upwards of 400hp, with drive sent to the rear wheels via an F1-style gearbox. Follow the jump for our complete gallery of Dino renderings.
